We’ve Got a Page Rank!!
At least Google recognizes us. From nothing to a Page Ranking of 4 from Google. This could be the tip of the proverbial iceberg… so long as there’s no global warming and we’re not flooded. Well to be flooded by visitors wouldn’t be a bad thing. Bring a snorkel… and order some scuba gear. The big wave could be coming. Think Poseiden Adventure. Umm, no. That’s not a good visual/outcome - though it does have a happy ending.
So, if we’re on Google’s radar screen, it’s only a matter of time before the worth of this blog starts to creep up (at least it was never in negative territory — if it were I guess that would have meant that I would have to have paid someone to buy my blog — not a good business proposition if you ask me) in value. And, I’m supposed to be an expert in those matters.
Well, for sure now, the pressure clearly will be on for me to (ahem) continue to post poignant observations, and mix them with the usual assortment of humor, insight, intelligence, wit (same as humor?), concise (umm, yeah, like never), salient (but not too salty), grammatically correct (I sure hope my seventh grade English teacher isn’t reading this… by the way, I am SO sorry I never did return the book that I borrowed. I was so embarassed that in the assignment that I wrote about Giraffe’s that I referred to them as Kangaroo’s — I’m sure you can understand my embarassment and forgive me my meek attempt at trying to cover up my gaffe by not returning the evidence (book).
Did anyone but me notice that the prior paragraph was missing one closing parenthesis? I learned a trick in my Computer Programming classes so that I would never have a mismatch of parenthesis. So, why I did ‘purposely” leave one off before? To see if anyone was paying attention of course! And, if you’ve managed to read this far, and are intrigued by the little trick I learned, post a comment and perhaps I’ll reveal the secret.
