Sex And The Four Guys
We laughed together; We shed a tear together; We rejoiced together; We bonded. As we walked in we gave each other knowing glances. Assured that we were going to walk out with a basketful of favors as a result of accompanying our significant others this evening.
In a full hall, when the lights went down, the census taken revealed only four men in attendance. All the rest, and there were a bunch of them, were woman (so far as we could tell). Yes, we saw Sex And The City this evening. Sometimes I felt like a Yankees fan at Fenway Park. At times you could hear just four people laughing as we went against the home team. And sometimes we all cheered for the happy ending when both teams went home happy.
I saw the TV show a few times and I enjoyed it. And, I must say I didn’t know what to expect (a four epsiode show strung together?). Instead we were treated (though not all that well by the Concessionaires. THEY have some nerve to charge the prices they do — and, we’re all idiots for paying it) to a fabulous movie. If you haven’t seen it, and you’re a guy, and you want to score some points, take your wife to the movies and reap the benefits after. You might even enjoy the movie. Just don’t admit it for Pete’s sake!
