One More Day

24 little hours.

1440 long minutes.

An eternity in seconds.

School bus pulling up to the curb.  Priceless.

I picked a bad time to get sick.  Not that it will keep me from my annual celebration (it’s a relatively new ritual), but I fear one of the boys will catch it.  And, then heaven forbid.  Don’t even think about it.  Not You!  Not ANYONE!!

Stifle cough.  Swallow phlegm.  What headache?  That usually comes AFTER the celebration ;)
I was up before the roosters this morning.  If you know me, this falls just short of a miracle.  If asked I will tell everyone that I was getting in to my school schedule, and it would be wise if they fell in line too.  Early to bed, early to rise, and seemingly the school bus arrives earlier.  At least psychologically.

Now don’t get me wrong.  I love my boys to pieces.  But, school is very important.  They are the foundation of the future of our society, and their going to school is the foundation of a parents sanity all around the world.

Peace on Parents!!
