Being a Met fan.  Unless you like watching train wrecks.  In slow motion.  Last night was a disaster.  This evening started off in the same vein.  Pedro has settled down nicely and the Mutts, errr, Mets actually got a few key hits.

BUTTTTTT…

The score is tied at three.  It’s the top of the 7th inning.  How much longer can Pedro go on?  When will they have to call upon their dreaded bullpen?  It’s raining.  Should Mets fans pray for a deluge right here and right now?

Can you imagine if the Mets pull a 2007 again?  And worse, it’s possible the Mets could end up with a worse record than the Yankees this year.  Not that’s any solace to Yankee fans.  Well, perhaps just a little.  Snicker.

I’m signing this off… I’m buckling my seat belt… and getting ready to watch the beginning of perhaps the end.  Yes, I’m admitting that I’m watching a Met game.
