Postponement
Nothing is sadder than having to postpone something that you’ve been looking forward to. Especially when it’s a business meeting with a new prospect.
Though it’s far better than a cancellation. A cancellation is so final. A postponement leaves hope. Hope connotes opportunity and chance. I’d rather not leave things to chance. But, how can we control things that are beyond our control?
Just as we can’t worry about things that are out of control, neither can we control them. Is there anything that we can do with things that are out of our control? Surely there must be something? But worry isn’t one of them.
So… postponed ’til another day. I’m glad it wasn’t tomorrow for tomorrow never comes.
But postponements can be reschedules. And hope will spring eternal.
Never lose the faith.
