Too Much Turkey
I’m sure it’s the Tryptophan “talking”, but…
I’m so sleepy… from all this Tur-key
I wish I could stay to find a word that rhymes with Turkey.
But all I wanna do is go back to da bed.
This fiendish bird had gotten in to my head.
I wish instead
That I was back in bed
Where I’d have all the time
To dream of words that rhyme
But, in the refridgerator that Bird is a sight
I know I shouldn’t, but I will take another bite.
