Still Fighting
A cold; The cold war; The war on apathy; Learning the difference between apathy and empathy.
Still fighting the never ending battle against truth, justice, and poor grammar.
Still fighting for the right to live life in peace and harmony. Where good things come to good people; And people get what they deserve; And what goes around comes around.
In case you haven’t realized I’m trying to set a world’s record for the most semi-colons in one blog posting. Unfortunately I don’t know what the existing record is. Perhaps there isn’t one. Then in that case I’ll set the bar and challenge others to dethrone me.
For now I will take my 37 seconds of fame; Bank it; And that still leaves me with 14 minutes and 23 seconds. No wait, I did have a claim to fame back in 1968 when I was the winning pitcher in two softball games being played simultaneously. And no, I am not ambidextrous. And no, I cannot be in more than one place at the same time. Though I wish that at times I could. I think that would come in very handy. I could be writing this while at the same time, making phone calls, going on appointments, going shopping, taking a bath, and napping. However if I ever got mixed up it could lead to some devastating consequences. Though shalt not take a bath and nap at the same time. The 11th commandment according to me.
Although it is ok to read in the bath; And reading, especially when laying down, can put one to sleep. And, hence they nap. So, perhaps it is all possible.
Now that I’m still fighting with my brain to make sense of what I’ve written I think it’s time to take another dose of cold medicine. That always makes me think clearer. Especially NyQuil.
