The only constant is change.
Boys get older; they outgrow their clothes; their brains get bigger and hold more knowledge. It’s amazing what they learn now that we didn’t learn until much later in life. Is that a good thing? If learned right, I’d say it is. Too much too soon? Not good.
Every day is a new beginning. That’s the fun of getting up in the morning. As well as you plan everything out, the moment you wake up, nine out of 10 times you can just throw that plan right out the window (Warning: Don’t do that if your window is above a busy street). You think that things are one way only to find their another. But, stick around. For tomorrow they’ll be in another direction. Perhaps even back again.
The only thing we can really count on in life is that the sun will rise in the east and set in the west. We’ll have to pay taxes. And we’ll try as hard as heck to put off the inevitable as long as possible.
Can we ever make sense of it all? Should we try? Shouldn’t we only worry about things that we have direct control over? The wisdom in knowing the difference between we do have direct control of, and what we do not have direct control of. Though I sure wish that I could get more people to read my blog, register for, and participate in, my Forums (click on the “About” tab to get the links to the Forums), and heed my advice.
