The Turkey Strikes Back
I don’t know about you, but I’m all Turkey’d out. And I didn’t even have Turkey on Thanksgiving.
But there were leftovers all over the place. At work. Brought home from other family/friends.
Turkey. Turkey. Turkey.
Who has the bloated feeling?
Who had trouble waking up this morning?
Who went shopping today?
Who went to work today?
Did you ever wonder why supermarkets don’t run a huge sale on Turkey’s the day after Thanksgiving? Why is that?
Why don’t Turkey’s rise up? Or, perhaps they did. On our stomachs. In the middle of the night. Like the Trojan Horse. It was an inside job.
What DO Turkey’s do the rest of the year?
And why do people say, “Don’t let the Turkey’s get you down”? You know why? Cause they know. They know that the Turkey’s will strike back. If only given the chance. And… they do.
