Just Keeping the Chains Moving

For those don’t know that expression, it’s a football term.  It means just keep moving the ball and getting first downs so you can keep possession and momentum.  A first down requires getting 10 yards.  It’s measured by a chain that’s exactly 10 yards long.  When a team advances the ball at least 10 yards (in four or less plays), it gets awarded a new first down, and chains are moved to reflect the start of their next set of downs and demarcate where they have to advance the ball to get another set of downs.  Hence the term moving the chains.

So what does this have to do with the price of tea in China?  Nothing really.  And I have really nothing to write today.  But, we have good momentum going… posting each of the last few days.  So in order not to lose the inertia I just wanted to post something to keep things going.

Game on!  Read on!  And, post on!
