Thank G-d It’s Friday
I am sure I’ve titled posts like this before, but really. Could a Friday ever be more welcome than it is this week?
Thankfully the weather turned warmer here for the first time in seemingly ages. By warmer I mean that it hit 40 degrees. But, it just felt so pleasant and warm. Funny how things are when you put them in to perspective.
So, the week is over. Amen. Though the week ended on an up note when I set five appointments this evening (if you need any financial planning, advice, or insurance, make sure ya give me a holler before my calendar gets all booked up
). I’m not sure what the weekend will bring. Hopefully quiet and relaxation. Nothing on the agenda. Which can be good or brutal. Time will tell. Perhaps come Monday I will be saying, “Thank g-d…”. Or, with hope I will say I sure wish the weekend was longer.
A nice three day weekend would be welcomed. But, have you ever noticed that as good as a three day weekend is, a four day weekend just seems SO much longer and SO much better. I wonder why that is. I wish I could remember. I don’t recall the last time I had a four day weekend.
So, Friday night… sitting under the candlelight (not really, but I like the way it rhymes), putting out yet another blog entry (don’t put out my candle… how will I see what I’m writing? What, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference? Hogwash I say! BTW, what IS hogwash? Perhaps that will be tomorrow’s blog entry.
Only if the weekend is slow. You’ll be able to tell how I am enjoying my weekend by the title of my next entry.
Stay Tuned. But, don’t hold your breath.
