Words Can Hurt

Text.  Seems to simple, doesn’t it?  We write what we think.  But, do we sit back and think what we write?

A written sentence lacks so many things that perhaps the real meaning can be misconstrued.  Or, perhaps they are construed and hit home like a dagger cutting one to the quick.

The pain.  Is it real?  Or, is it just a misunderstanding?

One cannot tell, and perhaps one should not guess without gaining a better understanding.

But, I profer that it’s still the responsiblity of the writer to make it clear what message is being conveyed.

Especially when feedback is left, and no further clarification is provided.

What is one to believe?

How should one feel?

Time will tell.

The answer and truth always come out.

My word of advice today?  Think.  Draft.  Ponder.  Heck, if you have to sleep on it.  Then post.

(Makes mental note to self:  You should take your own advice once in a while ;) )
