10,000 Posts!
What does that mean to you?
I know what it means to me…. it’s time to get a life. Or, I’m full of hot air. Or, I finally found a channel to express my thoughts and share any knowledge that I might have… Which is why you’ll notice that I’m mostly replying instead of initiating. Ok, hopefully that’s not an entirely true story.
So, where are these 10,000 posts? Well, they’re concentrated on two Forums (I’ve posted on other forums too, but this is the first that I’ve achieved this dubious milestone… and I just achieved it today).
And, I’m most proud of the fact that I created these Forums, and have attracted quite a few members who actively participate in our lively discussions (hopefully I’m whetting your appetite so that when I post the links you’ll scoot right on over and check it out — and register. It’s FREE! Don’t be shy!!).
In the beginning I was mostly talking with myself on the Forum and I feared that I would never attract any kind of viable discussions. I think we finally achieved some critical mass this past August. And they’ve taken off.
There have now been a total of over 57,000 total posts, so I’ve contributed less and 20% of the total. My goal by the end of the year is to have made less than 10% of the total posts. Then I know we’ve really achieved a critical mass. I’d like more and more people to join the Forums… Diversity of opinion is what makes the discussions more intriguing and poignant.
Please share with my enthusiasm over the two discussion forums:
- The Squirrel Forum (you’ll have to check it out to understand the name… but, it covers a wide range of different boards — if you can’t find anything to contribute to on this Forum, you’re probably from another planet).
- The Nassau County Aquarium Society Forum
Please click on one of the links above. And know that when you register for one, your membername and password are valid on both Forums.
