Human nature and kindness never ceases to amaze me.  Just when you think you’ve seen the last of giving, caring, people, they anonymously help.  Random acts of kindness haven’t gone out of style.  And, in this day and age when more and more people need to rely on the generousity of strangers, people really do come through.  And they’re doing it anonymously.

Which truly is the greatest, most selfless, gift of all.  Heck, in some of these instances, I wouldn’t even care if they gave while seeking the recognition.  Though there’s enough of that going around, there’s also enough need right right to go around for any kind of donations.  Whether they be donations of time, money, food, goods, services, and more.  It’s all good.

But for those that give from their heart, there truly should be a special place.  Not that these people are seeking recogniation.  Clearly they aren’t.  But, they should be made examples for other to emulate.  These truly our our modern day heroes.

How do we teach others to follow in their footsteps?  I guess one way is just like I am now.  Talk about it.  At every opportunity we can.  In any forum (or blog).

I don’t know how else to give thanks (not only for myself, but for others in need), and as an inspiration and a true role model for the youth on this world.

I believe every school child should have a field trip in school to a soup kitchen, a food pantry, the salvation army, and more.

What a better world we’d be building.
