I Think I Made a Terrible Mistake
I must have tempted fate the other day when I posted about something starting as a trickle (the migration of HGTV Message Board members to the Squirrel Forum). I really was NOT talking about the weather.
But, the fates must have intervened. Talk about the Law of Attraction in action.
It’s been non-stop raining here the last few weeks. Literally.
And, I’m not talking about a steady rain. Or even a shower. I’m talking monsoon like conditions.
Nothing’s been spared. Never mind the dreariness and what that does to our psyches. But, the first round of the U.S. Open was suspended today shortly after 10am. The New York Yankees were supposed to play a baseball game today. It was supposed to start at 1pm. It’s almost 6pm now. And they’re STILL waiting. And hoping. Fools.
I’ve learned my lesson.
Never EVER fool with Mother Nature.
Yes Mom. I’m listening.
Finally.
And, sorry everyone for causing all this distress.
And those of you that started building arks. Smart move!
