Happy Father’s Day!

My life changed (for the better) the day my son was born.  I can’t believe it has just about been six years ago.

Every year I get to watch him grow.  From a baby to a young boy.  From the first few words out of his mouth to the precious, “I love you, Daddy”’s.  Knowing he was in school (kindergarten) this past week making a Father’s Day card and present for me.  Nothing could be more precious.  I don’t need a tie.  All I need to see are his gleaming eyes… his radiant smile, and that big hug that he always has for me every single day.  It gets me every time.  Those are the ties that bind father and son.

It’s a cliche, but it’s so true.  Anyone can be a Father.  But, it takes a special man to be a Daddy.

To all the Daddy’s out there, Happy Father’s Day!
