It’s Summertime!
The pool was opened today. With all the rains we’ve been having, even if we opened the pool at the normal date, we still wouldn’t have been able to swim. Though today would have been a GREAT day to be in the pool. Hot Hot and Humid Humid. Of course, rain is once again in the forecast, and they’re predicting highs of only in the 70’s the next few days. Hopefully by the time the pool is swim-worthy, so will the weather.
Boys are off in camp.
Summer school is about to start.
Air conditioners are running full steam.
What’s a person to do?
Here are few good suggestions:
- Bookmark my blog. And, make it interactive. Post comments. Let’s strike up a two-way (better still a multiple) convo.
- Get back on The Squirrel Forum. Or, registerr. Become a member, and reap all the benefits of membership. There are more topics on the Forum than you can shake a leg at. Forget about two-way conversations. How about joining in on discussions on a Forum that has over 700 members? Talk about fun!
- Got fish? Again, either get back on the Nassau County Aquarium Society Forum, or register. Same reasons/benefits as above. Hey, fish are people too! And, they need you now more than ever! By the way, if you register for either The Squirrel Forum, or the Nassau County Aquarium Society Forum, you’ve registered for both! Your member name and password are valid on both Forums!
So, what are you waiting for? An invitation or something???
And, don’t forget. You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter too!
