7-8-9

July 8th, 2009  (07/08/09… 7/8/9).

How often does that happen?

I can assure you it’s not all that often.  So, is there a significance?  Is it a sign?  Should we take notice and take action?  I’m ready to take action.  I’m spurred to action.  Which way should I go?  Which is the way that’s clear?

We all have decisions to make in our lives.  And, each decision has so many potential outcomes… and each outcome leads to other decisions and outcomes.  It’s very daunting, don’t you think?  Why isn’t there a guide to the universe?  To life?  (L’Chaim!)

I guess if there was a guide, then life would be boring.  We’d probably rebel in a short amount of time, thus making the guide obsolete.

But, there are patterns in life.  Is that the natural flow?  Just like today’s date.  It must be a signpost for us to follow.  Something is leading us down a path.  Do we just go with the flow?  (That’s the Tao way).  Should we be like salmon and try to swim upstream?  There’s a lot of effort required to go against the grain.  And, when one dares to venture upstream, we can’t see what awaits us.  Does that mean that we shouldn’t take the plunge (or the reverse plunge so to say)?

It’s easier to go with the flow.  Nature always follows the path of least resistance.  Who’s to argue with Mother Nature?

So, today is our (potential) signpost.  Seven.  Eight.  Nine.  In the world of single digits, we’ve reached the end of the line.

Or, have we just arrived at the beginning?

What are your thoughts on the subject?  Please share them in this thread.
