Saturday Night’s Alright
Not weather wise though — the humidity is still over the top.
For avoiding hurricanes — though not to our neighbors to the north.
To have mercy on our friends — we threw the Red Sox a bone today.
So what is Saturday alright for? It’s alright for pretty much anything you want to do. It’s nice to have a day off knowing that tomorrow is another day off. Saturday nights are for fun. Of course I worked. But, work can be fun too. And it’s fun to get paid too.
I’ve decided that I can find fun in any situation. People want to have fun. They want to laugh. They want to socialize… sometimes even when they’re supposed to be working. But, it was all in fun. And we left no customer un-served or under-appreciated.
Tomorrow I was supposed to work too. I wish someone told me. I guess I should just assume from this point forward that I have to work every day. Though truth be told that might just be the best thing for me at this time.
Tomorrow though I have other things to work on. I just wish this humidity would cease and desist, so I can work and not work at staying cool.
So, today’s alright. Tomorrow will be good, and the next day(s) spectacular.
I should post this soon before it’s no longer Saturday night rendering this post completely moot… so good night to all and to all a good night!
