The Nassau County Aquarium Society (NCAS) is a non-profit organization whose
object is to promote the study of aquatic life, to promote interest,
exchange ideas, and distribute information concerning the hobby; and to
encourage the breeding and display of aquatic life. Currently the NCAS is
over 65 members strong and growing rapidly.
Within the last two years the NCAS has made an extensive effort to increase
its presence on the world-wide-web by constructing a new web site and by
opening an on-line forum. Year-to-date our web site averaged over 800 visits
per month to our homepage and our on-line forum had over 3,500 visits and has over 120 registered members (as of July 2005).
We have added a new feature to our web site and on-line forum, banner
advertisement. We are actively seeking sponsors to post their business on
our web site and forum. We are offering a introductory advertising rate of
$20 for a 3 three month display or a discounted rate of $60 for a continuous
year display.
